Ronnie Fischer was raised in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, which is where she attended high school and where she relocated back to after receiving her law degree in 2003. She is currently a partner at Bugaj Fischer PC Attorneys at Law which is based in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Throughout her law career, Ronnie has gained experience in various areas in the practice of law including family law, civil litigation, criminal defense, landlord/tenant, estate planning, municipal law, business law, planned community associations, and real estate. Ms. Fischer is admitted to practice law within the following jurisdictions: Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and Supreme Court of the United States of America. Ms. Fischer is a skilled legal writer who received both her Bachelor’s and her Master’s degree in English literature. Her passion for writing is demonstrated greatly in her appellate advocacy, as she has successfully argued and briefed numerous cases on appeal before the Pennsylvania Superior and Commonwealth Courts. In particular, she has also been successful in getting the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to accept three of her cases on appeal and most recently was granted an appeal by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in a criminal matter. Ms. Fischer is a member of various legal associations including the Wayne and Pike County Bar Associations. She formerly served as Secretary and then President of the Wayne County Bar Association and the Northeast Pennsylvania Audubon Society. In addition to being recognized by Lawyers of Distinction for excellence in the practice of law, Ronnie has also been named as one of Pennsylvania’s “10 Best Family Law Attorneys” by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys and as one of Pennsylvania’s “Top 10 Family Law Attorneys” by Attorney and Practice Magazine for 2020.
