Ed Haug is the Chairman of Haug Partners LLP and was a founding member of the firm in 1997. The firm has offices in New York City, Boston, and Washington D.C. and focuses on intellectual property, antitrust, FDA and commercial litigation among other complimentary practice areas. Mr. Haug is a "ranked trial lawyer" by Chambers, a member of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, and was recently a member of the CAFC advisory council to Chief Judge Prost. Mr. Haug has extensive experience in bench and jury trials as well as appellate proceedings having appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court, Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Second and Fourth Circuits. Mr. Haug has also represented clients involved in proceedings before the U.K. High Court, German Federal Supreme Court and the Tokyo High Court. In addition to Mr. Haug's activities as the firm's Chairman and a practicing trial attorney, Mr. Haug recently served as President of the Federal Circuit Bar Association ("FCBA") and as a member of the Board of Governors. The FCBA is a national bar association representing approximately 2000 lawyers, judges, and academics practicing before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, which sits a short walk away from the firm's Washington DC office. The Federal Circuit hears all appeals of patent cases in the U.S. and offers a forum for common concerns and dialogue between the private bar, corporations, government employees and the Court. Mr. Haug is a frequent lecturer throughout the world regarding all aspects of trial advocacy with a frequent focus on IP matters.

Gary E. Hood is a shareholder in the Chicago office of Polsinelli PC. He leads the Firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Division, and chairs the firm’s Hatch-Waxman Group. Gary’s 22+ years of experience trying cases involving a range of legal issues have given him perspective and insight on judge and jury persuasion for which clients seek him out. He developed and employs a unique case preparation method that identifies strategic direction early, and avoids the conventional "no stone unturned" approach that often drives fees. Gary is experienced in a broad array of civil and criminal matters, and focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation including Hatch-Waxman pharmaceutical patent matters. Mary Innis is the managing partner and founder of Innis Law Group. She has more than three decades of experience practicing in the field of intellectual property law. Mary represents a number of high-profile clients in some of their most high-profile matters. She has deep experience in intellectual property litigation, counseling, and prosecution involving trademark, copyright, unfair competition, advertising, promotions, right of publicity, privacy, and internet law. Mary provides global trademark portfolio management for many prominent brands. She represents clients in thousands of matters in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, regularly appearing before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board.
