Mike completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University, receiving a Bachelors of Business Administration in 1980. He then attended Baylor University School of Law where he obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 1982. In 2000, he attended the National Mediation Academy, where he was credentialed as a mediator, qualifying him to serve as a mediator and arbitrator in disputed civil matters pursuant to the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. Mike entered private practice immediately upon graduation from law school with the Tyler law firm now known as Ramey & Flock. Mike has always concentrated his practice in personal injury and civil trial law. For the first sixteen years of his practice, he defended a wide variety of personal injury and other civil cases, representing insurance companies, trucking companies, automobile manufacturers, and health care providers. In 1998, Mike changed the focus of his practice, devoting the majority of his time to representing persons who have been injured through no fault of their own. awarded Certificates of Special Competence in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He was recertified in 1995, 2000, 2005, and 2010. He is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western, Southern and Northern Districts of Texas. He is also licensed to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Danay Acevedo was born in Sagua La Grande, Cuba, and moved to the United States with her parents in 1994. She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Pre-Law from Barry University. She went on to earn a Master’s in Business Administration from Florida International University and in 2011 she completed her Juris Doctorate at St. Thomas University School of Law. Ms. Acevedo has been practicing personal injury law since she was admitted to the Florida Bar. She joined Miami Legal Associates in 2012 and two years later became a partner in the Miami Legal Group. In 2017, Ms. Acevedo acquired ownership of the firm and became Managing Partner of what is now known as Miami Legal Firm

Alejandro Acosta is a partner at Flores, Tawney & Acosta P.C, focusing on personal injury and employment law. Mr. Acosta is an accomplished trial and appellate lawyer. Jim Adler grew up in St. Louis and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 3½ years from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1974, where he was a University Scholar and on the Dean’s List. He earned a Juris Doctorate of Law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1978. Jim holds an AV rating (the highest rating) from Martindale Hubbell, a company that evaluates lawyers. He is among a select group of attorneys recognized by his peers with a high rating for both Ethical Standards and Legal Quality. He is admitted to practice by the United States Supreme Court, the highest court in the land. During law school, Jim tried cases in the Jackson County Prosecutor’s office and clerked for the highly regarded personal injury law firm of Morris, Foust, Beckett and Ponick. Since 1978 Jim has headed his own law firm, since 1995 in partnership with attorney Bill Manson. Jim has handled literally thousands of cases and was selected by The Kansas City Star to author a series of articles on legal topics. Jim was selected for membership by Outstanding Lawyers of America and The Metropolitan Who’s Who Registry. He authored articles for legal and mainstream publications, as well as three internationally-acclaimed books – one of which has been translated into three languages.
