Attorney Carol Barnes has been licensed to practice law since 1995. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University in 1990 and her Juris Doctor from Regent University of Law in 1994. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Barnes was a jury consultant who assisted attorneys impaneling juries in complex civil litigation. Additionally, Ms. Barnes carries a number of prestigious certifications. After passing numerous financial examinations, she attained certification as a Financial Divorce Analyst. She has completed workshops at Harvard University Law School and attained certification as a Divorce Mediator and Negotiator. She is a former court appointed special advocate for children and a court appointed guardian ad litem. Ms. Barnes is one of a handful of attorneys in the United States who successfully completed the esteemed American Bar Association Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute on trial testimony and expert witness. Ms. Barnes opened her own law firm in 2006.

Alexandra Baron is a divorce attorney and mediator in Sacramento, CA. She is a thought leader in promoting the application of positive psychology to Family Law. Attorney Nancy Baskin brings over twenty-five years of experience in the field of family law to her clients’ cases. She graduated from Dartmouth College cum laude in 1981 and, after spending a year working for the United States Senate, attended New York University School of Law, from which she received her J.D. in 1985. After two years of practicing commercial real estate in a large law firm in Manhattan, Ms. Baskin began exclusively practicing domestic relations law in 1988, first at the premier Manhattan divorce law firm now known as Aronson, Mayefsky & Sloan, LLP for approximately five years and then, upon relocating to Boston in 1993, with a Boston domestic relations firm for five years. After practicing in the domestic relations department of a large law firm for over two years, Ms. Baskin opened her own practice in Boston in March 2001. Ms. Baskin’s firm has since grown to three attorneys, all exclusively practicing domestic relations law. She is widely regarded as a preeminent practitioner in the field of family law.
