Stephen A. Markey, III

Mr. Markey received his undergraduate degree from Mt. St. Mary's University in 1984 and his law degree from the University of Baltimore in 1987. He is an active member of the MAJ, having served on the Board of Governors for eight years, and as a member and chair of numerous committees. He is a member of the Bar Association of Baltimore City having served for ten years on the Executive Council, and as chair of numerous committees. He also served as an attorney mediator for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City for eight years. Early in his career he served as general counsel and as a board member for People Against Child Abuse, Inc. on a pro bono basis. Mr. Markey is also a member of the Harford County Bar Association, the AAJ the Federal Trial Bar, the Supreme Court of the United States, the Maryland Bar Association and the Interstate Trucking Section of the AAJ. Mr. Markey has lectured in multiple areas of personal injury and medical malpractice law.
