Cheryl L. Kates

Since 2003, Cheryl L. Kates, Esq., has been practicing law in New York State parole and correctional matters. It is believed her firm is the only NYS firm that restricts their practice to correctional matters. Ms. Kates is an avid advocate for New York State Criminal Justice reform. She handles parole preparation, parole appeals, Tier 3 disciplinary matters, clemency applications and visit suspension hearings and appeals at the administrative level.
