Ms. Duffy graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelors in Arts, History. She then attended Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctorate in 2006. Ms. Duffy was admitted to practice law in South Carolina in May 2007. During her time practicing law she has served as a State Attorney with the office of Child Support Enforcement and with the Abuse and Neglect Division of the South Carolina Department of Social Services. In 2011, she opened the Duffy Law Firm, LLC with her husband and law partner; while the firm is a general practice firm, Ms. Duffy practices exclusively in Family Law handling divorces, child custody and visitation, and adoptions. She has a particular interest in the representation of foster parents in both Child Protective Services actions and adoption cases. Ms. Duffy also serves as a Guardian ad litem. Abbey is admitted to practice in all Courts of this State, the United States District Court and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
