Alexander B. Gilbert is an associate attorney at FKSFPC. After graduating in 2006 from St. John's University School of Law, he was appointed an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County. While at the D.A.'s office, Mr. Gilbert handled a wide variety of felonies and misdemeanors, conducted extensive investigations, interrogations and crime-scene analysis, and successfully prosecuted a number of cases at trial. In 2013 Mr. Gilbert was appointed Principal Court Attorney to the Honorable Douglas Wong, Queens Supreme Court. In that capacity, he assisted Judge Wong in administering trials, hearings and all court related proceedings. Shortly after graduating from St. John's, Mr. Gilbert was appointed as an adjunct professor at the Law School where he educated students on trial advocacy, litigation, evidence, motions, and various aspects of trial practice. Additionally, he served as the advisor in the mock-trial program, and coached several teams to regional and national victories. In 2017 Mr. Gilbert joined FKSFPC, where his practice involves all aspects of medical malpractice defense on behalf of physicians, oral surgeons, hospitals and nursing homes throughout the New York Metropolitan Area.
