Alexandria Cazares-Perez is a criminal defense attorney licensed to practice in the State of Texas and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern, and Eastern District of Texas. She was raised in both the U.S. and Mexico, and is a native bilingual Spanish speaker. Alexandria graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and then obtained her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law. While pursuing her studies, Alexandria tenaciously sought every possible real-life, practical experience related to criminal cases: she interned for the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office; clerked for the Honorable Judge Ricardo H. Hinojosa of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas; clerked for the highest Texas criminal court—the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals; worked for the nationally renowned criminal defense law firm of Goldstein, Goldstein, Hilley & Orr; and volunteered at the St. Mary’s University School of Law Criminal Justice Clinic. Alexandria is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyer Association and the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association. Her talent and persistence has caught the attention of lawyers throughout Texas. Before even leaving law school, Alexandria was recognized by the San Antonio Defender for achieving one of San Antonio’s best trial verdicts after she successfully represented a client who was found not guilty of a third degree felony by a jury verdict.  Alexandria is a tenaciously savage advocate, yet personable and relatable. She has represented clients charged with a broad range of offenses.
