Alexis K. Swope is a native of York County. She obtained an Associate’s Degree from Consolidated School of Business and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Central Pennsylvania College. While working toward her Bachelor’s Degree, Alexis held the position of a paralegal at a law firm in Lancaster County, where she remained until being accepted to Widener University School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate. While attending law school, she interned for two semesters at the York County District Attorney’s Office under the supervision of Tom Kearney. Alexis entered private practice with her father, Donald Swope, in 2011 and has taken on the task of updating the practice to the 21st Century via increased use of computers, software and the internet. Admitted to practice before the state bar of Pennsylvania, she is also a member of the York and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
