Alicia Franklin York served as a State District Judge in the 311th District Court in Houston, Texas from 2014 through 2018. Alicia Franklin York received her BA with high honors from Mount Mercy College in 2000 and her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2003. She has over fifteen (15) years of experience, beginning her legal career as an attorney, practicing primarily in civil law, but eagerly transitioned into focusing her practice primarily in family law and child welfare law. Alicia Franklin York is double board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in family law and child welfare law.
