Amy Gibson focuses her law practice on family law, with an emphasis on separation, divorce, child custody, child support, and peace and protective orders. She also has significant experience handling all types of criminal and traffic cases, business law, and appeals. Known in the legal community for her aggressive style, Amy is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience in Washington County and Frederick County, Maryland. Amy attended college locally at Shepherd University and attended the George Washington School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctorate. A Washington County resident, Amy is licensed to practice law in Maryland. She has served on and chaired the Washington County Bar Association Board of Directors, chaired the Washington County Animal Control Board, and has participated in numerous pro bono /low bono programs.
