Simply put, Andrea has chosen to dedicate her legal career to help people like her own family. She wants to make sure that her clients are treated with respect, professionalism and empathy that every person deserves. Her goal is to take the fear out of the Estate Planning, Elder Law or Probate Process.
Andrea Jakob is an attorney that listens, takes time to get to know each client personally and takes her client’s best interests at heart. Although she has been practicing law since 1992, and handling estate matters and probate since 2002, she was determined to move into the Estate Planning and Elder Law fields following a family tragedy. Her own experiences led her to see each client from a different perspective. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland with her Bachelor’s in Business from Boston University and her Law Degree from University of Miami, she has a great variety of practical experiences. Initially a member of the Maryland Bar Association (1992), She practiced in Baltimore prior to giving up on the cold winters.
She opened Andrea L. Jakob, PA in 2007 and has been practicing in the areas of Wills, Trust and Estates, Elder Law, Business Law, Probate, Personal Injury, and PIP. In a community-related capacity, she has taught at both the college level as an adjunct professor at Miami-Dade College and at City College and as an instructor of Realtors, is an amateur photographer and spends quality time as a volunteer at schools and other local organizations.
