Andrew Dimitriou handles all aspects of general civil litigation with particular emphasis in representing licensed professionals in the areas of business, real estate, construction, and tax law.
His clients range from established business owners, attorneys, accountants, architects, and other professionals, start-ups, as well as the established business owner. His approach to his clients is to resolve their issues before they become problems. It is global approach to find cost effective resolutions to his clients’ needs, whether the resolution be legal or non-legal.
Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley. He then received his Juris Doctorate and LLM in Tax from Golden Gate University School of Law. He was first admitted to the California Bar in March of 1997. He started his own practice straight out of law school. As such he understands the challenges of running a business. He has worked in all aspects of SMA businesses. He understands both the entrepreneurial spirit as well as what it takes to keep a business going after the first initial successes.
Andrew has routinely advised and lectures on probate, wills, trusts, ethics, conflicts, fees, and law practices matters, from both the client’s as well as the professional’s standpoint. He also testifies as an expert witness on standard of care issues, fee issues, and related matters.
He writes articles on topics ranging from business practices to estate planning issues, as well as part of the Bar Association of San Francisco he has authored ethics opinions.
