Consumer Protection Litigation and Class Actions Representing Consumers Law

Since opening his law practice in September 1997, Andrew has devoted his practice, with a special emphasis on class action cases, to protecting the rights of people who have been the victims of consumer fraud or other unlawful practices. In addition to resolving more than a thousand individual cases, Andrew has been certified as Class Counsel in more than one hundred twenty-five (125) cases involving New Jersey and federal consumer protection laws, including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, the Truth-in-Consumer Contract Warranty and Notice Act, and the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. In addition to his Consumer Protection practice, Mr. Wolf has been active in Chancery matters since opening his law practice. His Chancery practice has been focused in the Probate Part where he has served in more than 100 matters as court appointed attorney for alleged incapacitate persons, court appointed temporary guardian for alleged incapacitated persons, court appointed estate administrator and the permanent guardian of two wards for over a decade each. His chancery practice has also included court appointments as a special medical guardian and general equity cases such as partition actions. Andrew also is heavily involved in alternative dispute resolution both as a mediator and arbitrator. He is certified as a Mediator by the State of New Jersey, Department of Law and Public Safety (1995), the State of New Jersey Judiciary (1995) and certified as a Trainer in Mediation and Conciliation Skills for the State of New Jersey, Administrative Office of the Courts (1997). Since 2001, he has mediated Chancery Division cases in both the Probate Part and General Equity Part in Middlesex County via both the New Jersey Judiciary’s CDR program and as a volunteer for the Middlesex County Bar Association. Mr. Wolf also mediates cases as a volunteer and a team leader in the Middlesex County Municipal Mediation Program. In 2000, he was appointed as a Contract Arbitrator in Middlesex County, and in 2006, Mr. Wolf was certified to serve as an arbitrator in Lemon Law cases.
