Mr. Skolnick obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, splitting his education between San Diego State University and California State University Northridge. After graduating from CSUN he worked for Enterprise Rent a Car before beginning his insurance defense career as a claims adjuster for Farmers Insurance Company. In 1991, Mr. Skolnick joined the Farmers Insurance Company team as a bodily injury claims adjuster. He worked as an adjuster, Claims Supervisor and an Assistant Claims Manager overseeing claims personnel investigating and negotiating Personal Lines (Auto, Homeowners), Commercial Auto and Commercial Liability claims for various insurance carriers. Mr. Skolnick has experience reviewing insurance coverage, and the handling and direction of litigated claims. Mr. Skolnick also has 6 years as an independent field investigator. Mr. Skolnick?s 28 years of insurance experience has given him the insight to understand the needs of his clients, and the experience necessary to develop investigation and litigation strategies for fair and quick resolution of claims. In 2008 Mr. Skolnick began his career in the Workers? Compensation field as a defense hearing representative handling a multitude of litigated lien claims for numerous carriers and TPAs at the different Southern California Workers Compensation Appeal Boards. Mr. Skolnick attended Glendale University College of Law and Abraham Lincoln University School of Law from where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate. In December 2013 he was admitted to the CA State Bar, and in February 2014 he was admitted to the US District Court, Central District of CA. In 2016 and 2019 Mr. Skolnick was nominated for Lawyers of Distinction, being recognized for excellence in the practice of law.
