Brett A. Bauman is Senior Associate General Counsel at Broward Health, one of the ten largest public hospital systems in the nation. At Broward Health, his practice is primarily focused on health care regulatory issues, board governance, medical staff, graduate medical education, and contracts. Prior to joining Broward Health, Mr. Bauman was a staff attorney at the Committee for Public Counsel Services, Public Defender Division in Malden, Massachusetts. While there, he represented indigent clients in Massachusetts accused of crimes.
Recognized as a "Top Lawyer" by Fort Lauderdale Illustrated in 2020 and 2021 and as an Honoree in South Florida Business & Wealth's 2021 Legal Awards, Mr. Bauman exemplifies his passion for public interest law and assisting poor and marginalized people.
