Area of Practice: Sports and Entertainment Litigation
Liner Freedman Taitelman Cooley LLP Partner Brian Elliot Turnauer is an experienced civil litigator whose practice focuses on entertainment, sports, employment, and commercial litigation. His twenty-three years of litigation and trial experience extends to both State and Federal Courts, and he has arbitrated before numerous arbitration tribunals including the California Labor Commissioner and International Television and Film Alliance (IFTA).
Brian’s entertainment practice includes the representation of talent agencies, personal managers, actors, musicians (DJs, song-writers, composers), social media and cultural influencers, motion picture and television producers, and publishing companies. His sports practice includes the representation of professional athletes (boxers, wrestlers, basketball players and extreme sport athletes). He is also a licensed NBA agent. Brian often works with the FBI and the LAPD's Major Crimes, Celebrity Protection and Cyber-Crime division.
