Calsie was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and raised there. She attended Seton Hill University, located just outside Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania, where she graduated in Pre-Law / Political Science with a Bachelor of Arts degree, became Captain of the Women's Track and Field Team, and was an All-American in the High Jump.
She moved to Texas to pursue her law degree at the College of Law in South Texas where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2016.
Calsie has been involved in a wide range of civil litigation concerns, including personal injuries, criminal litigation, family law, probate and security policy.
