Carol Anne Johnson Elder Law

Carol is admitted to practice law within the States of Florida and South Carolina and is a member, in good standing, of the Florida Bar, The South Carolina Bar, the St. Petersburg Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Oconee Bar Association, and the Professional Advisors Committee of the SPCA. Until recently, Carol was a long-time appointed member of the Board of Trustees of the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation Community Law Program – a program founded to offer legal assistance in many areas of law for those in our community who cannot otherwise afford an attorney. Carol has received recognition from the Florida Bar for her many hours of pro bono service provided on behalf of foster children and others in our community. Carol is a frequent guest lecturer on the topic of “Special Needs” for community mental health groups and educational institutions, such as, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Columbia University, in NYC, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Clemson University, the Speakers Bureau for the Florida Bar, and the South Carolina Bar CLE Commission.
