Cheryl Linton Robinson is a co-founder of Linton Robinson & Higgins and practices out of our Miami Location.
Attorney Robinson is an experienced and tenacious litigator who is committed to providing high quality legal representation to all her clients. She specializes in prosecuting and defending civil liability cases and focuses on fighting for victims of accidents, medical negligence, products liability and premises liability cases. Over her career, she has litigated hundreds of cases achieving multimillion dollar verdicts on behalf of her clients. In 2003, Attorney Robinson co-founded the law firm of Cazeau, Linton Robinson, LLC, where she spearheaded the firm’s litigation and trial work until the firm closed in 2018.
Attorney Robinson began her legal career as a prosecuting attorney for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Prior to earning her law degree, she interned with the Honorable Bobby W. Gunther, fmr. Chief Judge at the 4th District Court of Appeal; the Palm Beach County Public Defender’s Office, Appellate Division, and the City of Miami, City Attorney’s office.
Attorney Robinson is dedicated to her community, having served as president of the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association (GSCBWLA), and mentor to at-risk youth and children aging out of the foster care system. She is also an avid animal lover and a member of the Florida Bar Animal Law Section.
Attorney Robinson earned her law degree from St. Thomas University, School of Law in Miami, Florida, where she was awarded as top legal intern for her work at the City of Miami. A native of New York, she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Long Island University, C.W. Post College, Greenvale New York.
