Compassion and empathy for clients come naturally to Attorney Christopher Rotunda. His
decision to dedicate his career to representing injury victims was shaped by personal
experience, after a close family member suffered a traumatic brain injury caused by
another person’s negligence. Witnessing firsthand the lasting impact of such injuries
strengthened his commitment to guiding clients through some of the most difficult
moments of their lives with care, clarity, and resolve.
Born and raised in West Virginia, Christopher Rotunda earned his Juris Doctor from
Stetson University College of Law, graduating with honors and in the top 8% of his class.
After his 1L year, he was selected to serve as a summer legal intern for the Honorable Denise A. Pomponio of the 13th Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, Florida. Throughout his 2L and 3L years, he worked as a law clerk for Justin C. Johnson & Associates, P.A., a highly respected boutique personal injury firm in St. Petersburg, Florida. During his 3L year, he also served as a paid Research Assistant for Professor Jason Palmer at Stetson University College of Law.
Attorney Rotunda is a member of The Florida Bar and the United States District Court for
the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He has been recognized as a “Top 10 Under
40” by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, a “Top 40 Under 40” by The
National Trial Lawyers, a Florida Rising Star by Super Lawyers for four consecutive years
(2023–2026), and a 2026 Lawyer of Distinction.
In 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026, he was selected to the Florida Rising Stars list by Super
Lawyers Magazine, recognizing him among the top attorneys in Florida. Each year, no more
than 2.5 percent of lawyers statewide receive this distinction. Super Lawyers, part of
Thomson Reuters, evaluates candidates through a patented multiphase selection process
that includes peer nominations, independent research, and professional evaluations
across more than 70 practice areas.
Outside the office, Christopher enjoys traveling, sports, golf, and spending time with his
wife, Lyndsey, his stepson, Hudson, and their two English Bulldogs, Reggie and Larry.
