When Clay was a young man, he spent a summer studying abroad in Alicante, Spain, where he fully immersed himself in Spanish culture. However, the most important thing Clay did that summer was meet his future wife, who happened to be visiting Spain from her home in Quebec, Canada. Shortly after getting married, they moved to San Antonio, where Clay earned his Juris Doctor degree at St. Mary’s University. Whether meeting his wife across the ocean or becoming the first lawyer in his extended family, Clay has always taken the unconventional path. After becoming an attorney, Clay quickly realized that providing exceptional service to his clients involves more than simply a mastery of the law regarding the issues in their cases. Rather, he readily discovered that clear and timely communication is just as important, as it allows him to properly identify and assess the risks of moving forward with litigation. Today, Clay strives to provide his clients with clarity regarding the unique legal issues in their case, as well as with an understanding of the ways they can seek a beneficial resolution of their case.
