Dianna L. Albini is a seasoned senior trial lawyer and a retired California Administrative Law Judge. With over 33 years of experience, Dianna’s legal career spans a wide range of high-profile administrative and regulatory matters, including those involving federal and state entities such as the United States Department of Education, California Department of Consumer Affairs, and California Department of Developmental Services, among others. As an Administrative Law Judge, she presided over hearings and trials, delivering written decisions on complex legal issues.
Dianna’s meticulous approach and extensive legal knowledge led to a remarkable record of decisions that were never overturned on appeal. She maintained a 99% successful settlement resolution of cases prior to trial at mandatory settlement conferences and mediations.
Before her appointment as an Administrative Law Judge, Dianna founded and led the Albini Law Group in San Francisco, where she honed her skills as a trial attorney specializing in civil litigation and plaintiff’s personal injury cases. Throughout her career, she has secured multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements for her clients, totaling over $50 million. Dianna is known for her integrity, leadership, and exceptional advocacy both in and out of the courtroom.
Dianna holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Sports Administration from the University of San Francisco. She is licensed to practice law in California and holds certifications from various state and federal courts, including the Supreme Court of Florida.
Her contributions to the legal field have earned her numerous awards and accolades, including recognition by the Consumer Attorneys of California as a Trial Lawyer of the Year Finalist in 2020. From 2018 to present, she is also recognized by Lawyers of Distinction, Civil Litigation Top 1 percent Trial Lawyers in the US.
