Dori B. Hightower has been a solo practitioner in both Connecticut and California for over 25 years. She serves a variety of clients, but her concentration has been in complex and contentious matrimonial cases. Hightower's compassion and sensitivity in helping her clients through the difficult and often complex process of divorce has proven to be one of her strongest assets. In the corporate sector, Hightower served as Senior Counsel for Southern New England Telephone Company, where she provided legal counsel, protection of intellectual property, contract management and oversight, regulatory compliance, and litigation support.

Hightower is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association. She has been recognized by the top 100 National Black Lawyers in 2022 and 2023. She was recognized by the Connecticut Law Tribune as the Litigation Department of the year - Solo Litigation Practice.

Hightower holds a B.A from Bennington College and a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law.
