I am the owner of Elizabeth Franklin-Best, P.C., a boutique law firm that focuses almost exclusively on criminal federal defense, state and federal direct appeals, federal post-conviction, and habeas proceedings. I started my firm in July 2019 because I wanted to create a new kind of firm—one that embodies the highest level of professionalism and aggressive advocacy for my clients. I purposefully keep my office’s caseload small so that we can give every case the attention it needs and deserves, and I select clients who I know we can help.
