Within months of graduating law school and joining Guenin Law, Emily became one of the youngest attorneys to argue a case in front of the Indiana Supreme Court. After that first successful appeal, Emily and Mark have co-authored numerous appellate briefs which have benefited their clients. Guenin Law’s trial work and appeal work led them to become involved in the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association which is dedicated to the constitutional rights of open access to the courts and equal protection under the law for all persons in Indiana. The organization includes approximately 1,000 members throughout the state of Indiana. In 2014, Emily was asked to become a member of the Executive Committee. She currently serves as the only female member of the Executive Committee. Emily is dedicated to protecting the rights of her clients. She recognizes that each of her clients has their own story and she is passionate about making sure their story is told. She earned her B.A. from Butler University before attending Indiana University-Bloomington, where she earned her J.D.
