Frederick Berger Corporate and Transactional Law

Mr. Berger is a graduate of George Washington University and a 1976 graduate of Tulane University School of Law. Mr. Berger has been an attorney with Riezman Berger, P.C. from 1976 to present date (37 years). His practice is concentrated in real estate law and real estate development, zoning, municipal law, environmental law, financing transactions, corporate transactions and commercial transactions. Mr. Berger has represented numerous clients in zoning matters throughout St. Louis County and surrounding counties in Missouri. Mr. Berger has served as President and Director of Riezman Berger, P.C., and has served as Managing Partner. Mr. Berger is City Attorney for the Village of Westwood, Missouri (1980 to present). Mr. Berger is a member of the Municipal Attorney Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Mr. Berger, as City Attorney, belongs to the St. Louis County Municipal League. Mr. Berger is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Bar Association of St. Louis. Mr. Berger is licensed to practice law in the states of Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Tennessee. Mr. Berger has advised the Village of Westwood on the Missouri Sunshine Law and has substantial experience in handling public disclosure matters under the Missouri Sunshine Law. Mr. Berger has drafted ordinances for the Village of Westwood. Mr. Berger has also drafted air pollution control ordinances for St. Louis County and has participated and testified in front of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources regarding the promulgation of rules and regulations for air pollution control. Mr. Berger has served as a staff assistant in the United States Senate, worked for the Sergeant-at-Arms of the United States Senate, staff intern in the Missouri legislature and served on the White House Conference and Committee on Children and Youth.
