Ms. Kaplan is an accomplished litigator and has achieved excellent results at the Workers Compensation Board, New York Supreme Court and at the Appellate Courts. She graduated from Hofstra University School of Law in 2002 and was admitted to practice law in New York State in 2003. She began her career representing doctors in medical malpractice actions . In 2007, she became focused on Workers Compensation appearing at the WCB, NYS Supreme Court and NYS Appellate Courts. Ms. Kaplan taught college and graduate level classes at Cornell University Satellite School and at Long Island University for a total of ten years. She taught Employment Law and Discrimination, Business Ethics and Labor, Unions & Employment Relations. She is also admitted to the United States District Court, Southern District. She is a member of the New York Insured Workers Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the New York Injured Workers Bar Association.
