He has also successfully represented numerous U.S. businesses in investments, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions in China. Additionally, Henry advises on international transactions across multiple jurisdictions, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, and the United Kingdom, with a focus on offshore structuring and tax planning strategies.Henry is widely recognized for his exceptional negotiation skills and his strategic, solutions-oriented approach to complex cross-border transactions.
Henry also serves as outside general counsel to a diverse range of U.S. companies, including venture capital firms, high-end equipment manufacturers, consumer goods companies, real estate developers, cross-border e-commerce businesses, logistics and warehousing firms, and restaurant groups. His counsel encompasses contract review and negotiation, regulatory compliance, employment law, and dispute resolution. Henry has significant experience advising on real estate development projects, with a focus on project financing, contract management, real estate fund structuring, and EB-5 investment projects.
Henry is adept at representing clients in U.S. state and federal courts, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). He is particularly skilled in managing the complexities of cross-border disputes involving foreign parties, including issues of service of process, jurisdictional challenges, extraterritorial application of U.S. laws, and cross-border discovery.
Henry’s litigation practice also includes enforcement of foreign arbitration awards and court judgments in the U.S. and other jurisdictions, providing clients with comprehensive cross-border dispute resolution strategies.
Henry is actively engaged in various international legal and business organizations. He currently serves as an Executive Committee Member of the International Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and has held advisory roles in global forums such as the 2020 Saudi B20, 2021 Italy B20, and 2022 Indonesia B20 “Integrity and Compliance” Task Forces.In 2023, Henry was invited to participate as a delegate at the APEC Business Summit in San Francisco, representing the interests of cross-border investors and multinational corporations.
