Mrs. Cassel is a partner and co-founder of Cassel & Cassel, P.A. She began her legal career practicing as an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County, Florida. While working at the State Attorney?s Office, she prosecuted serious felony offenses and tried over forty jury trials to verdict. Upon entering private practice, she worked for approximately four years in the field of first party property insurance defense where she practiced in both State and Federal Court with an emphasis on coverage, liability, and bad faith for various domestic and international insurance carriers. Mrs. Cassel currently serves on the Board of Directors and Chair of the Property Committee for the Florida Association of Insurance Reform. Mrs. Cassel has been awarded the prestigious AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, has been selected as a Florida SuperLawyers Rising Star since 2015, and was selected as a Top Rated Insurance Lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell in 2018.
