Arbitration and Mediation

Homer La Rue received his Bachelor of Arts at Purdue University in 1970. Following receiving his undergraduate degree, Mr. La Rue went on to receive his Juris Doctor at Cornell University School of Law. After receiving his law degree from Cornell, Mr. La Rue then went on to receive his M.I.L.R. (Master of Industrial and Labor Relations) also at Cornell University. Mr. La Rue has over thirty-five years of experience as an attorney, mediator and arbitrator working in a variety of industries including: airlines, railroads, retail, higher education, telecommunications, public sector state and local government and federal sector. In addition, Mr. La Rue is a highly respected educator in legal education. His speciality in teaching is Alternative Dispute Resolution (including arbitration and mediation). Mr. La Rue has been teaching law since 1983 and was one of the founding faculty members of the City University of New York School of Law. He has been professor at Howard University School of Law since 1994.
