Howard Silber Sports Law

Howard F. Silber graduated from the University of Tennessee, where he was a member of the basketball program, in 1976. He obtained his JD from the University of Miami in 1980. Since then, he has specialized in representing athlete’s needs as an agent, advisor, and attorney. He has both negotiated sports contracts in the hundreds of millions of dollars and has successfully litigated many seven figure settlements on behalf of his professional athlete clientele. He has been prevailing counsel in many benchmark sports lawsuits including: Pacific Sports and Entertainment v. Weinberg; Pro-Tec Management v. Luchs; Lemieux v. New Jersey Devils; Hodgson v. Lloyds of London; and the ongoing In re National Hockey Players' Concussion Injury Litigation.
