Irene Tenedios graduated from St. John’s University with a B.A. in Psychology and earned her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Tenedios was in-house counsel for an insurance company, where her responsibilities included researching a myriad of insurance coverage issues and drafting dispositive motions in employment discrimination and general litigation actions.
Since joining Levitt LLP in 2004, Ms. Tenedios has counseled and represented a wide variety of clients at all stages of the litigation process in both state and federal court. Ms. Tenedios focuses her practice on complex business and commercial litigation, including the defense and prosecution of claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, business torts and unfair business practices. Ms. Tenedios’ areas of practice also include commercial and residential landlord/tenant disputes. Ms. Tenedios is also well-versed in drafting and negotiating various business agreements, including asset purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements and non-competition agreements.
