aclyn M. McLean, a Partner in the Santa Fe office of Hinkle Shanor LLP, graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico Law School in 2009. While at the University of New Mexico, Ms. McLean served as an Editor for the New Mexico Law Review. Ms. McLean has extensive experience representing both private and public entity clients in complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts, include a considerable amount of experience with class/collective actions. Ms. McLean’s practice is now primarily focused on the representation of energy companies, oil and gas operators, and investor-owned utilities. She represents oil and gas operators in compulsory pooling actions, and clients who seek drilling approvals for both vertical and horizontal, salt water disposal, and acid gas injection wells before the N.M. Oil Conservation Division and N.M. Oil Conservation Commission, as well as representing energy companies in matter that are litigated in both state and federal courts. For well-over a decade, Ms. McLean has successfully practiced before administrative bodies, United States District Court, all levels of the Courts of New Mexico, including the New Mexico Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. McLean is a native Texan but has called New Mexico home for almost 20 years. When she isn’t in the office, Ms. McLean enjoys spending time with her family outside skiing, hiking, or gardening.
