Jacob Gillick is the founding partner of Gillick Legal whose practice primarily focuses on corporate litigation, personal injury, and criminal matters.
Mr. Gillick grew up in San Diego and earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from San Diego State University in 2010, with honors. Immediately after graduating, Mr. Gillick pursued a career in sales with a San Diego based natural foods company and was promoted to National Sales Manager. Mr. Gillick was closely involved in the company’s financial planning, marketing methods, and strategic planning. This experience has proven extremely valuable in his practice as a corporate litigator.
In 2013 Mr. Gillick made the decision to pursue a legal career in order to put his knowledge and experience to better use and graduated from California Western School of Law in 2016, with honors. Immediately after graduating, Mr. Gillick spent some time as a workers' compensation insurance defense litigator with Hanna Brophy before making the move to Morris Law Firm, APC where he was mentored by Christopher Morris who is now a judge with the San Diego Superior Court.
While with Morris Law Firm, Mr. Gillick successfully second chaired a $56 million defense arbitration between leaders in the tech industry, obtained a $6 million settlement for a victim of medical negligence, represented a wide range of criminal matters with compassion, and has worked tirelessly to provide aggressive and fiscally responsible services to businesses of all sizes. Since then Mr. Gillick has gone to trial multiple times as a first and second chair along with recovering millions for his clients through creative and dedicated negotiations. Mr. Gillick prides his practice on being informed, prepared, reasonable, compassionate, and aggressive when necessary.
