James Adler Personal Injury Law

Jim Adler grew up in St. Louis and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 3½ years from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1974, where he was a University Scholar and on the Dean’s List. He earned a Juris Doctorate of Law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1978. Jim holds an AV rating (the highest rating) from Martindale Hubbell, a company that evaluates lawyers. He is among a select group of attorneys recognized by his peers with a high rating for both Ethical Standards and Legal Quality. He is admitted to practice by the United States Supreme Court, the highest court in the land. During law school, Jim tried cases in the Jackson County Prosecutor’s office and clerked for the highly regarded personal injury law firm of Morris, Foust, Beckett and Ponick. Since 1978 Jim has headed his own law firm, since 1995 in partnership with attorney Bill Manson. Jim has handled literally thousands of cases and was selected by The Kansas City Star to author a series of articles on legal topics. Jim was selected for membership by Outstanding Lawyers of America and The Metropolitan Who’s Who Registry. He authored articles for legal and mainstream publications, as well as three internationally-acclaimed books – one of which has been translated into three languages. Complimentary copies are available to all visitors to the office. Jim also serves three international not-for-profit organizations—one as a legal advisor, and two as a board member.
