Long before founding our Livonia bankruptcy law office, Jared L. Haddock worked full time as a customer service representative in the automotive supply chain while completing his Bachelor of Business Administration degree program in Management of Information Technology Summa Cum Laude. He then worked as a computer applications and e-commerce development project manager. Realizing his lifelong ambition of a successful legal career, however, Mr. Haddock earned his Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan. Attorney Jared Haddock worked for a large bankruptcy law firm in Michigan while attending law school and after graduating. He enjoyed meeting with clients who sought to improve their financial condition through bankruptcy. However, he was convinced that clients could be better served and have more successful transitions toward financial stability with more attentive and personal, compassionate guidance along the way. Such service is difficult to provide in a large law firm atmosphere that focuses its resources on volume, rather than quality. In 2006, Attorney Jared L. Haddock founded the Law Offices of J. L. Haddock, PLLC, and "A Better Future Law Firm", focusing primarily on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies and some family law matters. In 2008, as it became more obvious that overall economic conditions and the decline in the Michigan housing market was going to be far more extensive than a mere "market correction" as had been previously reported, our bankruptcy workload increased dramatically. Mr. Haddock made the decision to reallocate all of the law firm's resources to assisting financially distressed clients, rather than taking on other legal matters.
