Jeno Berta has been practicing law since 1994. In this nearly three-decade career, he has obtained a wealth of litigation and trial experience. He has been a prosecutor and defense attorney in both the federal and state court system. Additionally, he has broad civil law experience, including civil litigation (through jury trials) business law, real estate law, family law, and trust and estate work. Currently, Jeno's law practice is focused on government contracting issues as general counsel for Halberd Security, a division of Halberd, LLC. In addition to his civilian legal work, Jeno serves in our Army Reserve as a Judge Advocate. He holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and is the Command Judge Advocate for the 86th Training Division. Prior service includes a deployment to Iraq in 1009 as the Chief of Claims and Client Services for the 1ST Cavalry Division, stationed near Baghdad, Iraq. His military awards include The Bronze Star Medal (for service), and the Meritorious Serve Medal.
