I obtained a B.S. degree in Business from CSUN in 1989, and after pursued a legal carrier and attended Whittier College School of Law from which I received a Juris Doctor degree in the top 20% of my graduating class in 1992. During the time I was attending law school, I also decided to pursue a parallel interest in codified law and obtained a Masters of Business Taxation degree in 1992 from USC. In addition to being admitted to the California Bar since 1992, I also petitioned and was admitted to practice law in District of Columbia, Colorado and New York jurisdictions. After obtaining diverse legal experience, I decided to open my own law practice and in 1996, Jacobson & Associates was born. As my practice diversified into general civil, personal injury and workers compensations areas, the firm grew from just me to 5 associates and 20 employees. Since 1996, I have represented over 10,000 clients and have obtained settlements for them in excess of $150,000,000.
