I was not a straight-A student in high school, but although I was close to it, I chose to join the military and serve my country. After my initial 4-year active-duty tour, I decided to apply to the San Antonio Police Department and raise a family in San Antonio and returned to higher education. I stayed in the military as a reservist, and served in the three different branches; USN, USAR and USAFR, retiring after 30 good years. I also retired from SAPD once I gained acceptance into law school. During my law career, I have represented different companies and have formed different business entities. In my 20th year as a lawyer, my business ambitions expanded and allowed me to start a new company dedicated to providing medical equipment to different private and governmental entities.
