Jonathan M. Genish is an award-winning trial attorney who has represented the full gamut of clients from A-list celebrities to Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and individuals over his productive career. Super Lawyers has repeatedly honored Mr. Genish as a Southern California Rising Star since 2012, placing him in the top 2.5% of lawyers in Southern California in his peer group. Mr. Genish has successfully tried numerous multimillion-dollar matters and has represented clients in cases totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. Prior to founding Blackstone Law, Mr. Genish was a partner with The Kaufman Law Group and an associate with Freedman + Taitelman, LLP. Mr. Genish has also worked in commercial and residential real estate sales, the legal department of New Plan Excel Real Estate Investment Trust, and the litigation firm of Oved & Oved LLP. Mr. Genish received his Juris Doctorate from Cardozo School of Law in New York City, and a Bachelor of Science with honors in both Real Estate and Finance from California State University of Northridge. He is a father to two beautiful girls and a true family man, which has set the foundation for his belief that every client should be treated precisely the way he would treat his own family.
