Jordan is a native of Charlotte and attended Central Piedmont and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte before earning his law degree in Virginia. He began his legal career after commissioning in the U.S. Marine Corps. In 2013, Major Nabb received the American Bar Association's Legal Assistance for Military Personnel Award as a Legal Assistance Attorney. He then served as a Defense Counsel trying courts-martial and representing Servicemembers in administrative matters before transferring to Miami to advise the Commanding General of U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South. Major Nabb today continues to serve as a Civil Affairs Officer in the Select Marine Corps Reserves and recently deployed to the Arctic Circle with Marine Rotational Force - Europe 20.2.
He founded Nabb Law with the goal of leading his community, veterans, and their families through legal matters such as USERRA, SCRA, Boards for Correction of Military Records, Performance Evaluation Review Boards, and Article 15 / non-judicial punishment, estate planning, probate, wills, trusts, judgment collection, bankruptcy, and other matters. Some of his more unique cases include a case related to one of Blackbeard's pirates, collecting a $200,000+ judgment, writing a will for a WWII veteran, and removing years of "velvet dagger" non-adverse material from a captain's military record. Outside of work, Mr. Nabb spends time with his wife, three children, cockatiel, and two dogs. He can be found playing violin or soccer and enjoying the outdoors around Matthews.
