Joshua Bratter earned his B.A. from Hamilton College, where he founded the College’s first Policy Think Tank on hemispheric issues, H.O.L.A. His senior thesis was published in the literary journal, The Minerva Review. He received his JD from the University of Miami, where he was one of the founding members of the University’s Asylum Clinic, supervised under the auspices of The National Lawyers Guild and The Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center. As a Research Assistant to the Honorable Hugo Caminos, Mr. Bratter was awarded a post-graduate research grant to attend The Hague Academy of International Law, in the Hague, Netherlands. Mr. Bratter has worked as a Research Analyst at the Council on Hemispheric Affairs in Washington DC and a Law Clerk for the Under Secretary of Legal Affairs at the Organization of American States, Washington DC. Mr. Bratter has spoken on panels and at conferences with Congressmen, Demographers, Religious and Community Leaders, Sports and Entertainment Agents, Immigration Officials and Members of the Immigration bar on the subject of Immigration Law, specifically Extraordinary Ability Aliens, for events sponsored by the American Bar Association, the American Immigrant Lawyers Association, International Trade Organizations and Universities in the US and abroad.
