Mr. Josh S. Brownstein's main areas of practice include Personal Injury and Criminal Defense. Mr. Brownstein earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1996 from California State University in Chico, California. He then went on to study law at The University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree with distinction in 2000. During law school, Mr. Brownstein was a member of Order of the Coif and the Traynor Honor Society. Josh is admitted to practice within the following jurisdictions: California, United States District Court – Northern District, Central District, Eastern District and Southern District, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the State Bar of California, Marin County Bar Association and San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. Throughout Mr. Brownstein’s entire legal career, he has been a litigator. He gained extensive experience at two major national law firms and then decided to open up his own private practice for the purpose of representing people and small entities that needed aggressive and strategic representation. Josh has a passion for litigating in the courtroom, but also is extremely focused on providing his clients with unparalleled attention and service at every phase, including prior to the commencement of litigation.
