Kara Hartman is an associate at the firm’s Tampa office where she focuses on First Party Property defense. As a Tampa native, Ms. Hartman has developed strong ties to the community. She earned her Bachelors of Arts and Sciences from the University of South Florida. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
While attending law school, Ms. Hartman earned Dean’s List Honors, was a Teaching Assistant for Business Entities, and was elected to serve on two student advisory councils. In addition, Ms. Hartman interned with the State Attorney’s Office in the Conviction Review Unit as well as the Florida Supreme Court.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Hartman worked in commercial real estate and asset management, which has provided her with extensive industry knowledge relevant to First Party Property defense.
