Born in New Amsterdam, Berbice, Guyana, Kinda Velloza is an attorney committed to justice. She became the youngest TV reporter in Guyana at 16 and later founded BerbiceNews.com, the country’s first online news platform.
After moving to the United States in 2009, she earned degrees in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, and Law, passing the Bar Exam on her first attempt. Licensed in Georgia, she is the founder of Velloza & Associates, LLC and has practiced immigration law only for the past 8–9 years. She is the author of 10 Things Immigrants Should Know Before Coming to America to help immigrants navigate the complexities of US immigration and the founder of the KV Foundation.
She is a devoted mother to one child, she enjoys reading and working out when not practicing law. Her journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and compassionate advocacy and she continues to uplift and inspire those she serves.
