Kiran Dhillon specializes in transactional legal matters. She has several years of legal experience counseling individuals, small business owners and large corporations on real estate, estate planning, business and corporate transactions. She has drafted and reviewed thousands of agreements such as leases, medical office leases, asset purchase agreements, bills of sale, deeds of trusts, promissory notes, security agreements, personal guaranty agreements, employment agreements, professional services agreements and various other transactional matters.
Prior to co-founding Real Estate Law Corporation™, Kiran worked as in-house legal counsel for a large healthcare system with over $4.5 billion in annual revenue and over 20 hospitals. Kiran has also represented local individuals on estate planning matters, such as trust formation, trust administration, probate and has represented small business owners on their various transactional matters. Kiran has also worked as in-house legal counsel for a mutual fund trust administration company regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission, which co-administered hundreds of mutual funds totaling over $1 billion in assets.
During law school Kiran graduated ranked 2nd as Salutatorian of her graduating law school class at Western State College of Law, where she was the recipient of a merit-based 100% Outstanding Academic Achievement Scholarship, and the recipient of 4 Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence in the areas of: Business Associations, Property Law, Negotiations, and Legal Writing and Research. She also served as the technical editor of the WSU Law Review, was a distinguished honor roll member, Dean’s circle member and Vice President of the Tort Law Society.
Prior to attending law school, Kiran also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in general business management at CSU Stanislaus, while working full time at the corporate headquarters for E.&J. Gallo Winery in the Supply Chain and Finance departments.
