Area of Practice: Pardons, State and Presidential and Criminal Defense
Kristina Wildeveld is a native and a lifelong resident of the Las Vegas community where she was raised and attended High School. She graduated from UW- Madison before fast-tracking through California Western School of Law. She was attracted to the legislature and government and started her legal career as an extern for United States District Court Judge Philip M. Pro in Federal Court before taking a job as a law clerk to in District Court Judge where she learned the ins and outs of Family Court including Domestic, Guardianship, TPO Court, Domestic Violence, Abuse and Neglect and Juvenile delinquency. In 1997, instead of going into private practice, she joined the newly formed Office of the Special Public Defender handling only First Degree Murder, Death Penalty Cases for the next 8 years. She was the youngest Death Qualified attorney in the State and remains one of the few. She has successfully handled many high profile cases and changed numerous laws before practicing in pardons.
