Lisa A. Gomez is a partner at Nanos, Gomez & Vekiarelis, P.C. She joined the firm in 2017. She received her Associate's Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, her Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Old Westbury and her Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law. While enrolled at Hofstra University School of Law, she participated in the Youth Advocacy Clinic, assisting clients in Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and family law issues. In 2015, she was rewarded the Jonathan Roppolo Memorial Award due to her outstanding work the year she participated at the clinic. Lisa is a first-generation American from Colombian parents and is fluent in Spanish.
Lisa has always been devoted to helping her clients. Prior to joining the Firm, Lisa worked in Real Estate for several years, where she handled short sales and loan modifications to achieve her clients with a continuing home.
Lisa is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. Lisa is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Association of Deportation Defense Attorneys.
